Good news people! My dream game and no doubt many others'-- FINAL FANTASY VIII, that right 8! is surfaced the Earth. And it looks absolutely amazing. Square officially revealed some preliminary infos in Tokyo on friday along with screenshots which here I posted some on my page for you to enjoy and proof its existance . The character on top is the main character of the game Squall Leonhart, he looks awesome in the CG movie isn't. Few new changes to the series have been added to this version include the abilities to view all characters at once wether in the world map or towns(yes). the characters will also be bigger than FFVII's with more details. And one of the themes is concern with love. these was what was reveal by Square at the moment, you bet there will be more news and screen shots to come and i'll be stay on top of this amazing game in the months to come, and hope you'll be here with me.

Square released some more new screenshots of Final Fantasy yesterday, include the main character Squall and some battle shots, as can be seen above and below and also more in my pictures achives at the bottom of the page. Go check it out, they are amazing.

Today is when E3(Electronic Entertainment Expo)--one of the biggest game show in the world opened its door to tens of thousands of people of magazine editors and publics to see all the new games coming out, it is held in Alanta in the US from 28-30th of May. On top of the gamelist was of course FFVIII. A demo was show and needless to say it was amazing. It was also the reveal release date of the game. The good news is that it will released in Japan by the winter of 98 or early 99, but the bad news was it won't released in the US until about exactly one year later-fall of 99!! WHAT!, I though they said they would release the US version even sooner than the time it took between the Japanese and US version of FFVII, which the president of Square promised! Or well, looks like I'll be import it again this year and I'm sure there will be legions of others doing the same, I mean who can resist the temptation and wait for a whole year to play it. Read on...

It was revealed yesterdayday that FFVIII will possibly use Parasite Eve's engine for the game. Also, there will be two different demos of the FFVIII be packed in with other Square games when they released in the US. the first demo will be packed in with the US release of Parasite Eve in September, which is not playable, but the second is playable when it is packed in with Brave Fencer Musashi in November.
